Maths Inquiry

At a Pasifika Conference held last year in Wellington, I heard about Bobby Maths and how it is being used in the classroom.
As part of our Maths Inquiry the school wide focus has been on problem solving where the children are given a problem and they are to work in small groups to solve this particular problem. We have started using " Talk Moves" in our sessions whereby the children are the ones who are doing most of the talking/ solving through collaboration with their peers.
